The Copperhead Course at Innisbrook is considered one of the best resort courses in the country (as rated by Golf Digest) and is host to The Transitions Championship, a PGA Tour event. The par-71 course plays over 7,350 yards from the back tournament tees and is a very stern test of golf with terrific greens. This beautiful 18-hole layout has tight fairways and well-bunkered greens, placing a costly premium on accuracy from tee to green. One of Innisbrook's four championship courses, the Island Course, was the first to open for play in December of 1970, and still offers Innisbrook's most diverse golfing challenge.
