The Caravelle Resort is located beachside in Myrtle Beach. Legends Parkland ~ 11.8 miles

Featured here are three distinct designs. The Heathland, by Tom Doak, is known for its lack of trees, menacing winds, pot bunkers, and wide rolling fairways. The Moorland, by P.B. Dye, was crowned one of the "Top Five New Public Courses in America" by Golf Digest and is most remembered for its deep bunkers, multi-level greens, and Dye-signature bulkheads. The Parkland, a Legends Group design, was inspired by the "early American courses" like Augusta National and Pine Valley. Wetlands, deep-faced bunkers, generous fairways, large greens and minimal rough make this an exciting course to play....

Indian Wells Golf Club ~ 15.78 miles

Rated three stars by Golf Digest's "Best Places to Play," this challenging Gene Hamm design has water on 15 of 18 holes. There are a number of daunting holes here; however, the course is known best for the 410-yard, par-4 ninth hole, which is part of the Grand Strand's original "Dream 18." Although water is always near, the course plays more open than you'd think with room for the occasional missed drive. Managed by Classic Golf Group, Indian Wells was named "2004 Myrtle Beach Golf Course of the Year."...
