Donald Ross designed seven courses in the North Carolina Sandhills region. Of these seven, Mid Pines is the only one with every hole in the same place as when it opened. Golf historians love to experience the true Ross features and the course management required as you make your way around the course. Although just 6500 yards from the tips, the course seems to play much longer and is always difficult to score on.
