| 12/13/2008 - The course was very hard with narrow approaches to greens
Needs a set of tees around 6000 yards Posted by Doug (Wiarton, ON) |
12/01/2008 - The course was terrific. We were a foursome interrupted many times by single golfers and a twosome. Posted by Pat (Holbrook, NY)
04/14/2008 - Beautiful course. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Posted by Andre (Easton, CT)
03/24/2008 - Played the New Course in the morning, very nice but bunkers & greens are very extreme!! Played North - South in the afternoon, very slow pace but probably due to difficulty of the course Posted by John (Warren, RI)
03/17/2008 - Best layout and course conditions I have ever played in Orlando. Played the North South Course. Very scenic not at all Florida like. Has the look of a classic Northern course with some florida flair. Great clubhouse with very nice staff in the restaurant, clubhouse, starter - you name it they were great. It was also great being able to shower and watch some golf before we got on the plane. Posted by Raymond (Teaneck, NJ)
03/10/2008 - excellant course fair test for golfers of varying handicaps Posted by Edward (Dublin, )
03/09/2008 - This place is 110% all the way. Also played the new course. Also excellent. Definetely worth the extra $$$ to p[lay at least once. Posted by John (Holtsville, NY)
03/06/2008 - Played North - South, instead of North - East because East Course was being top dressed. Did not like the South nine -- it is too "tricked up." Many of the greens better belong on a putt putt golf course including the clown's mouth and the windmill! It didn't help that we played on a very windy day. Posted by Nick (Grand Rapids, MI)
03/03/2008 - perfect Posted by Fernando (Austin, TX)
03/03/2008 - very difficult course from the blue tees Posted by Alexander (Fairlawn, OH)

Grand Cypress Resort, comprising the North, South and East nines, offers a variety of physical and mental stimuli that provides a test of accuracy rather than strength and distance. The North and South nines, originally built in 1984, have both now been redesigned and feature terraced fairways, generous landing areas, mounds and platformed greens with yawning bunkers. The East nine, added in 1986, is more generous, with less bunkering, particularly in front of the greens, allowing more run-up shots (it will be renovated in 2009). The South Course was completely rebuilt summer of 2007 - and the North reopens in November, 2008. Now you face new challenges on 2 completely innovative, memorable nines. Always in perfect condition, Grand Cypress provides one of Central Florida's best, most challenging golf experiences anywhere. Play all 3 combinations - awesome and unforgettable.
Added-value: Comp range balls and 20% discount on all golf shop merchandise (excludes golf equipment)
