Peripherally bordered by dense oaks and pines in a backdrop along historic Shingle Creek, it is situated on a natural 230-acre site, just 10 minutes west of Orlando International Airport - great for first/ last day play, and just around the corner from International Drive, the Convention Center and numerous hotels and attractions. Favorite course on the trip. I was a bit disappointed that the restaurant was not open when we arrived for breakfast. The snack shack only had one breakfast sandwich left for my wife and I to share, but it was large and was very tasty.

Surprise of the trip. By far the service was the best I've ever experienced at any course I've played in Orlando. It came at a price (had to tip more than usual), but it was OK this one time. Course was in good shape and was a nice challenge. Practice facility was a bit crowded. Starter did a good job of keeping order and getting us off in timely increments so that we wouldn't be crowded out on the course. Our group commented that we may consider staying at Shingle Creek next year; however, the prices for food and parking, and the expectation to have to tip every time you encounter a staff member is a turn off.

perfect condition. went the 1st week in november. not even a single blade of grass overgrowing onto a cart path. challenging but fair conditions to play a good round, scenic course(bring a camera). was a little rushed to the 1st tee box, arrived only 25 minutes ahead of tee time. allow more time so you can take advantage of practice facilities. will return on every trip in the future.

Awesome course. Wonderful resort experience. It's close to the airport, so great for first or last day of you trip. The course winds around the beautiful hotel. Layout is nice. Only one thing I didn't like. You have to valet your car at the bag drop and they don't have a parking lot. I hate being rushed by pushy bag drop guys to take my clubs when I'm not ready. We just got off the plane and had to change clothes, get bags out of travel cases, put on shoes, etc. I suggest getting ready before you get there because they take you car from you.
